Hi. You most definitely have had an interesting life. How did you decide on Liverpool as a home?
Neil S.
Hello Neil, it’s lovely to hear from you. I wanted to put down roots and drew a large circle on the map, which covered four counties, including North Wales. I included The Wirral Pennisula even though I did not know it. Three places came up for rent right at the top, so I visited, chose one and made my move. It’s not in Liverpool itself, but is on the peninsula opposite. My home looks out over The Mersey towards Liverpool, so I can see her lights every night and watch the sun rise over her pierhead every morning. I felt drawn here, even though I didn’t know a soul. No-one who knew me could understand why I did it, but my instinct said ‘Do it’. I am thriving and have made wonderful friends here and my roots are firmly established. It’s creative and yet, peaceful. A long answer to your question, but heartfelt as you can tell. Hugs to you both. Xx
To feel comfortable and at home is something that is hardly a given. Your instincts took you to the right place!
Yes. Thank you, Neil. Hugs to you both. Xx
I really like your description of how you chose your current home.
Thank you, Liz. <3
